The History Of The Black Panther

The Black Panther legacy begins in Afrika.  Unknown to the masses the symbolism of the Panther is rooted in the Jaguar as a Balanced Predator.  Not taking more than necessary from the environment and living in the shadow or darkness hidden from view in a “Jungle”.  This implies that the Panther unlike the spotted Jaguar does not accept the way of open-view and being sought after and identified by the “Beast of the Fields”.  Taking the shape of the balanced attacker and adding the Color of the “ALL” and infusing the Green Light of the Soul (EyE). The Black Panther symbolizes a supreme combination of the universal arrangement of a stalker that does not promote fear but embraces the reflective existence of the night and live in the harmony of Nature.  To the human it was used as a symbol of sacred wisdom and protection.  The priesthood of a tribe was made up of the holders of the ancient ways these, priest would protect the knowledge and tradition of the ancestors and determine through families who was loyal and strong enough to keep the secret not adding or taking away from the path of the tribe.  The facts and legacy that has preserved the way of life must not be broken for it encompasses all that is universal and embodies the laws of nature and does not seek to alter or manipulate the laws, which only introduces chaos and disorder to the tribe.  So the rights of the ancient have to be protected, the land had to be preserved.  To do this one must embody the ways of a predator that would stalk out or devour the alien or chaotic (Ignorant Force) ways that will attempt to divide, dumb down, influence, and control the abilities of the Afrikan collective.  So we must know the tradition of our elders and live up to the mission of care taking for the land to stay rich in legacy and strength.  To bring about this one must know the history of the BPP in terms of the mind set that we carry for the fight must live through us and we must take our place and calibrate the wrong that continues to plague the mind of our people.  The effort must turn to building institutions and centers for the growth of our Nation.  So with this oversight we will bring forth the words of our comrade Sundiata Acoli who created a very informative and concise history of the movement.  This edition was reedited to include information about the NBPP and we must accept fault for any errors in the reprinting of this trease.
